The 2008 3rd Annual Family Flounder Tournament was a great success this year. The bad weather was like bookends to the beautiful weather we had for the Captain's meeting & the tournament. It poured before we started and poured after it was finished but the two days inbetween were perfect.

We had 83 boats entered and we weighed 42 fish. About 65% of the fish came from the creeks of Cherry Grove and the rest came from the estruaries and the ocean boundries.

We were fortunate to raise enough money to fund our HOOK a Kid on Fishing program again this year. Last year we put 112 kids through the program and this year we hope to have 150 kids to experience fishing. We thank and support all our sponsors without who this would not have been possible.
