Remember When You Caught Your First Fish?

We hope to share this with the youngsters in our area through our "HOOK A Kid On Fishing" program in which we take groups of kids fishing on headboats or pier fishing for free. Our Association pays for kids for a half-day trip on a headboat for bottom fishing. We also arrange pier fishing activities for kids for free.

Many of these children come from local churchs or youth groups in the North Myrtle Beach and Little River area.

In 2006, we took 60 kids fishing and 12 chaparones. In 2007, we took 112 kids fishing and 24 chaparones. This year we hope to take more kids.
